The US are joint perpetrators of the Yemen invasion

Source: http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/08/19/425356/US-expands-role-in-Saudi-war-on-Yemen

This article sums up the Saudi aggression on Yemen. It comes as no surprise to see that it is American intelligence that gives Saudi the locations in which to drop its bombs (that were also bought off America to aid in their economy).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The United States has more than doubled the number of its military staff “providing intelligence, munitions and midair refueling” for Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes on Yemen.
The number of so-called American advisors working at joint military operations centers in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain has risen from 20 to 45, The Los Angeles Times reports.
In addition, US warships have also helped enforce a naval blockade in the Gulf of Aden and southern Arabian Sea.
US officials stress the sea cordon is intended to prevent weapons shipments to Ansarullah fighters.
However, human rights groups say the blockade has hindered imports of basic commodities, including food and fuel, to the impoverished nation.
Saudi Arabia launched its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 – without a UN mandate – in an effort to undermine Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement, whose fighters had forced the US-backed president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, into exile.
A US special operations team was deployed at al-Anad, the country’s largest airbase, to collect intelligence and launch drone strikes in southern Yemen, until it was driven out in March as Ansarullah fighters advanced.
American officials said last week that they will not deploy the team back to Yemen until Hadi, the fugitive former president, is restored to power.
The humanitarian situation has become critical in Yemen, with many international aid organizations seeking a safe passage into the country to supply medical and humanitarian supplies to the most affected people.
Human rights group Amnesty International said in a report that the Saudi airstrikes have mostly pounded populated areas with no identifiable military targets nearby, leaving a "bloody trail of civilian death."
The onslaught has claimed more than 4,300 lives and forced more than 1.3 million others from their homes since March, according to United Nations agencies.

To those who deny that Maliki retreated from Mosul

If you didn't believe it before you better believe it now. The army did in fact retreat from Mosul at the advance of ISIS. The arguments about the Arab armies being 'cowards' and fleeing from combat are just pure Orientalist propaganda to demean and demotivate the Ummah in its trust and reliance on the military.

If they were not told to retreat by Maliki then there would be no need for an Iraqi parliamentary investigative report that accounts senior officials for the setback in Mosul and Iraq in general after the orders for retreating.

Read this:

Former Iraqi prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has rejected allegations that he was responsible for the fall of Iraq’s second city, Mosul, to Daesh Takfiri militants last year.
Speaking in a press conference in the Iranian capital Tehran on Monday, Maliki called into question the integrity of a recent report by an Iraqi parliamentary investigative committee, which held him and a number of other senior Iraqi officials accountable for the setback.
Instead, Maliki blamed Turkey and Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for the fall of Mosul, saying Daesh's takeover took place after the KRG ordered Kurdish fighters to retreat from the conflict zone.
Maliki, who is currently serving as Iraq’s vice president, further stated that the Iraqi army and police also withdrew from the capital of Nineveh province, leaving Shia fighters alone in their battle against Takfiris.
Lawmakers affiliated with Maliki’s party in the Iraqi parliament threatened to resign if the committee refuses to remove the name of the country’s former premier from its report.
Mosul file to be referred to judiciary
Maliki's remarks came hours after Iraqi lawmakers voted to refer the parliamentary report to the judiciary.
Salim al-Juburi, the Iraqi parliament speaker

"None of the names mentioned in this report were deleted, and all of them will be sent to the judiciary. An investigation and follow up and accounting of all those who caused the fall of Mosul will be carried out," Iraqi speaker of parliament Salim al-Juburi said.
The report is the first official document citing top political figures and military commanders, allegedly responsible for the fall of Mosul.
Other former senior figures include acting Defense Minister Saadun al-Dulaimi, former Army Chief of Staff Babaker Zebari and his deputy Aboud Qanbar, Ground Forces Commander Ali Ghaidan, Nineveh operations command chief Mahdi al-Gharawi and the province's governor, Atheel al-Nujaifi.

It is no surprise that the Gulf countries are safe from the terror the West have created in the Middle East

The US government is spending hundreds of billions of dollars annually to defend Saudi Arabia and other “tyrannical monarchies” in the Persian Gulf region, a Saudi scholar in Washington says.
“The United States has been spending $255 billion a year since the 1970s, an average of $255 billion a year to protect the [Persian] Gulf monarchies, especially Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain,” said Ali al-Ahmed, a critic of the Saudi monarchy.
“This amount of money makes up 40 percent of the annual American defense budget and it’s greater than the combined budgets of the states of California and Florida,” said al-Ahmed, the founder and director of the Institute for [Persian] Gulf Affairs, an independent think tank in Washington, DC.
“I think it’s really a way for America and the American people to stand against their government policy of supporting the tyrannical and absolute monarchies in the [Persian] Gulf countries,” he added.
The scholar made the comments after US presidential candidate Donald Trump blasted Riyadh for "ripping off" the US, saying the regime wouldn’t exist without US assistance.
In an interview with NBC News on Sunday, the Republican said Saudis are making “a billion dollars a day” because of the US assistance and called on Riyadh to share its vast oil wealth with Washington in exchange for the American favors.
“Saudi Arabia, if it weren’t for us, they wouldn’t be here,” Trump said. “They wouldn’t exist.”
Trump suggested that the United States should consider ditching Riyadh because Washington is increasingly getting less dependent on the Saudi Arabian oil.

Super Capitalist Donald Trump reveals the sick truth about Capitalism and how Democracy is flawed

Super Capitalist Donald Trump reveals the sick truth about Capitalism and how Democracy is flawed:
Last night’s FOX News GOP Presidential Debate Extravaganza featured the most riveting two minute political exchange ever heard on national television. During a brief colloquy between Republican frontrunner Donald Trump and Fox moderator Brett Baier, the pugnacious casino magnate revealed the appalling truth about the American political system, that the big money guys like Trump own the whole crooked contraption lock, stock, and barrel, and that, the nation’s fake political leaders do whatever they’re told to do. Without question, it was most illuminating commentary to ever cross the airwaves. Here’s the entire exchange direct from the transcript:
FOX News Brett Baier (talking to Trump): Now, 15 years ago, you called yourself a liberal on health care. You were for a single-payer system, a Canadian-style system. Why were you for that then and why aren’t you for it now?
TRUMP: As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland. It could have worked in a different age, which is the age you’re talking about here.
What I’d like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state. I have a big company with thousands and thousands of employees. And if I’m negotiating in New York or in New Jersey or in California, I have like one bidder. Nobody can bid.
You know why?
Because the insurance companies are making a fortune because they have control of the politicians, of course, with the exception of the politicians on this stage. (uneasy laughter) But they have total control of the politicians. They’re making a fortune.
Get rid of the artificial lines and you will have…yourself great plans…
BAIER: Mr. Trump, it’s not just your past support for single-payer health care. You’ve also supported a host of other liberal policies….You’ve also donated to several Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton included, and Nancy Pelosi. You explained away those donations saying you did that to get business-related favors. And you said recently, quote, “When you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do.”
TRUMP: You’d better believe it.
BAIER: — they do?
TRUMP: If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I’ve given to, just so you understand, a lot of money.
TRUMP: I will tell you that our system is broken. I gave to many people, before this, before two months ago, I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And do you know what? When I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them, they are there for me. And that’s a broken system.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What did you get from Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi?
TRUMP: Well, I’ll tell you what, with Hillary Clinton, I said be at my wedding and she came to my wedding. You know why?
She didn’t have a choice because I gave. I gave to a foundation that, frankly, that foundation is supposed to do good. I didn’t know her money would be used on private jets going all over the world. It was.
BAIER: Hold on…..We’re going to — we’re going to move on.”
This is capitalism folks. If you didn't believe it before. You better do now because it's coming from one of the most influential and successful capitalists in the world!
This is the system they wish to export to our lands... sick.

Important players linked to the National Endowment for Democracy an extension of the CIA

Source: http://landdestroyer.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/national-endowment-for-democracy-is-now.html

The NED, along with Freedom House, has been at the center of all major US State Department-financed ‘color revolutions’ in the world since 2000 when it was used to topple Milosevic in Serbia. The NED was created during the Reagan Administration to function as a de facto CIA, privatized so as to allow more freedom of action. Allen Weinstein, who helped draft the legislation establishing NED, said in a Washington Post interview in 1991, “A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA.”

The NED was the brainchild of Reagan’s CIA Director, Bill Casey. Casey wanted to create a funding mechanism to support groups inside foreign countries that would engage in propaganda and political action that the CIA had historically organized and paid for covertly. To partially replace that CIA role, the idea emerged for a congressionally funded entity that would serve as a conduit for this money. The main revenue to finance NED activities in countries like Russia, China, Myanmar, Venezuela, Uzbekistan and other places where the regime is not 100% on Washington’s music page, comes from the United States Congress. That is supplemented by such dubious organizations as George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, which seems to always pop up where the CIA and NED want to topple a regime as in Ukraine in 2013-14.

Casey wanted to be sure to hide the strings being pulled by the CIA. In a letter to Reagan’s White House Counselor, Edwin Meese III, Casey wrote, “Obviously we here [at CIA] should not get out front in the development of such an organization, nor should we appear to be a sponsor or advocate.” To hide the CIA’s role, Casey urged creation of a “National Endowment.”

NED President since 1984 has been Carl Gershman, previously with the Freedom House, another “democracy” front for the US intelligence community involved in every Color Revolution. NATO General and former Presidential candidate Wesley Clark, the man who led the US bombing of Serbia in 1999, and who recently called for aggressive US military response to Russia, also sat on the NED Board.

The majority of the historic figures linked to clandestine CIA actions have at some time been members of the Board of Directors or the Administrative Council of the NED, including Otto Reich, John Negroponte, Henry Cisneros, and Elliot Abrams. The Chairman of the NED Board of Directors in 2008 was Vin Weber, campaign fundraiser for George W. Bush in 2000. Gershman, head of the NED since its creation to the present, worked closely with Richard Perle, Elliott Abrams and Frank Gaffney. Gershman was in a sense ‘present at the creation’ of the political-intelligence faction known as neo-conservativism.

Among NED projects in Russia has been to finance Russian anti-Putin opposition activist Alexei Navalny, member of a group called Russian Opposition Coordination Council. Navalny received money from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

The NED has sub-units: National Republican Institute, which is headed by Senator John McCain, the man who played a key role in the 2014 USA coup d’etat in Ukraine. The National Democratic Institute, tied to USA Democratic Party and chaired now by Clinton Secretary of State and Serbian bombing advocate, Madeline Albright. The NED Board of Directors includes the kernel of the Bush-Cheney neo-conservative warhawks like Elliott Abrams; Francis Fukuyama; Zalmay Khalilzad, former Iraq and Afghan US ambassador, and architect of Afghan war; Robert Zoellick, Bush family insider and ex-World Bank President.

Toxic legacy of US assault on Fallujah 'worse than Hiroshima'

Source: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/toxic-legacy-of-us-assault-on-fallujah-worse-than-hiroshima-2034065.html

Dramatic increases in infant mortality, cancer and leukaemia in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, which was bombarded by US Marines in 2004, exceed those reported by survivors of the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, according to a new study.
Iraqi doctors in Fallujah have complained since 2005 of being overwhelmed by the number of babies with serious birth defects, ranging from a girl born with two heads to paralysis of the lower limbs. They said they were also seeing far more cancers than they did before the battle for Fallujah between US troops and insurgents.
Their claims have been supported by a survey showing a four-fold increase in all cancers and a 12-fold increase in childhood cancer in under-14s. Infant mortality in the city is more than four times higher than in neighbouring Jordan and eight times higher than in Kuwait.

Dr Chris Busby, a visiting professor at the University of Ulster and one of the authors of the survey of 4,800 individuals in Fallujah, said it is difficult to pin down the exact cause of the cancers and birth defects. He added that "to produce an effect like this, some very major mutagenic exposure must have occurred in 2004 when the attacks happened".
US Marines first besieged and bombarded Fallujah, 30 miles west of Baghdad, in April 2004 after four employees of the American security company Blackwater were killed and their bodies burned. After an eight-month stand-off, the Marines stormed the city in November using artillery and aerial bombing against rebel positions. US forces later admitted that they had employed white phosphorus as well as other munitions.
In the assault US commanders largely treated Fallujah as a free-fire zone to try to reduce casualties among their own troops. British officers were appalled by the lack of concern for civilian casualties. "During preparatory operations in the November 2004 Fallujah clearance operation, on one night over 40 155mm artillery rounds were fired into a small sector of the city," recalled Brigadier Nigel Aylwin-Foster, a British commander serving with the American forces in Baghdad.
He added that the US commander who ordered this devastating use of firepower did not consider it significant enough to mention it in his daily report to the US general in command. Dr Busby says that while he cannot identify the type of armaments used by the Marines, the extent of genetic damage suffered by inhabitants suggests the use of uranium in some form. He said: "My guess is that they used a new weapon against buildings to break through walls and kill those inside."
The survey was carried out by a team of 11 researchers in January and February this year who visited 711 houses in Fallujah. A questionnaire was filled in by householders giving details of cancers, birth outcomes and infant mortality. Hitherto the Iraqi government has been loath to respond to complaints from civilians about damage to their health during military operations.
Researchers were initially regarded with some suspicion by locals, particularly after a Baghdad television station broadcast a report saying a survey was being carried out by terrorists and anybody conducting it or answering questions would be arrested. Those organising the survey subsequently arranged to be accompanied by a person of standing in the community to allay suspicions.
The study, entitled "Cancer, Infant Mortality and Birth Sex-Ratio in Fallujah, Iraq 2005-2009", is by Dr Busby, Malak Hamdan and Entesar Ariabi, and concludes that anecdotal evidence of a sharp rise in cancer and congenital birth defects is correct. Infant mortality was found to be 80 per 1,000 births compared to 19 in Egypt, 17 in Jordan and 9.7 in Kuwait. The report says that the types of cancer are "similar to that in the Hiroshima survivors who were exposed to ionising radiation from the bomb and uranium in the fallout".
Researchers found a 38-fold increase in leukaemia, a ten-fold increase in female breast cancer and significant increases in lymphoma and brain tumours in adults. At Hiroshima survivors showed a 17-fold increase in leukaemia, but in Fallujah Dr Busby says what is striking is not only the greater prevalence of cancer but the speed with which it was affecting people.
Of particular significance was the finding that the sex ratio between newborn boys and girls had changed. In a normal population this is 1,050 boys born to 1,000 girls, but for those born from 2005 there was an 18 per cent drop in male births, so the ratio was 850 males to 1,000 females. The sex-ratio is an indicator of genetic damage that affects boys more than girls. A similar change in the sex-ratio was discovered after Hiroshima.
The US cut back on its use of firepower in Iraq from 2007 because of the anger it provoked among civilians. But at the same time there has been a decline in healthcare and sanitary conditions in Iraq since 2003. The impact of war on civilians was more severe in Fallujah than anywhere else in Iraq because the city continued to be blockaded and cut off from the rest of the country long after 2004. War damage was only slowly repaired and people from the city were frightened to go to hospitals in Baghdad because of military checkpoints on the road into the capital.

Turkey’s Erdogan says he is ‘concerned’ about Islam

Source: http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/08/01/422842/Turkey-Erdogan-ISIL-concerned-about-Islam

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sought to link his country’s recent military campaign against targets in Syria and Iraq to “concerns” about Islam, saying the image of Islam is being damaged by violence perpetrated at the hands of Takfiri terrorist groups.

The Turkish president, who has faced mounting criticism over the recently launched military campaign, defended the ongoing attacks against purported ISIL targets in northern Syria and the positions of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Iraq, saying Ankara is faced with a serious threat from Takfiri groups.

“Our only concern is Islam, Islam, Islam,” Erdogan said in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta – where he is on an official visit – on Friday.

Critics say the Turkish military campaign, which began two weeks ago, is in fact focused mainly on Kurdish targets rather than ISIL positions. Turkey had been publicly indifferent to the atrocities committed by ISIL in Syria and Iraq before certain recent developments that provided an opportunity for Ankara to begin targeting Kurds, a population Turkey considers as its number one enemy. Turkey has officially declared that it will oppose the establishment of a Kurdish state along its southern borders.

Elaborating on his “concerns” about Islam, Erdogan said the crucial problem facing the Muslim world is “sectarian divisions,” which he claimed is exploited by the terrorists.
“Turkey makes no distinction between Sunni and Shia members of Islam and does not follow a policy based on sectarian divisions,” Erdogan said.
He lashed out at the terror groups for killing people in the name of Islam, saying the religion forbids any such “unjust killings” and considers them “equivalent to killing all of humanity.”

Washington responsible for crash of Malaysian airliner over Ukraine: Dr. Roberts

Source: http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/08/01/422875/MH17-crash-Malaysia-US-Russia-

A former White House official says the crash of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine last year was a plot hatched in Washington and implemented with the help of the government in Kiev in order to implicate Russia.
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, who was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Saturday.
On July 17, 2014, the Boeing 777-200 passenger plane crashed in Ukraine’s conflict zone, killing all 298 people aboard. According to US intelligence and military officials, the plane was hit by a Russian SA-series missile launched from eastern Ukraine.
A preliminary report released in the Netherlands last year stated the airliner had no technical problems in the moments before it crashed in the sky after being struck by multiple objects. But Dutch investigators still have not released the detailed findings of their investigation.
This week, Russia used its veto at the United Nations to block a draft resolution to establish an international tribunal into the MH17 disaster, fearing that as the facts don't support the US propaganda that Russia is responsible for the crash, Washington is pushing a UN tribunal on the incident to get the desired results.
“I believe Washington is responsible. I don’t know whether it was a formal government decision or just a decision of some rogue part of it, because it served to put pressure on Russia,” Dr. Roberts said.
“It served to help Washington convince the Europeans to go along with sanctions. And it proved to be very effective propaganda against Russia,” he added.
“I noticed that neither Washington nor the government in Kiev have released the information that they had. Kiev refuses to release the communications of Ukrainian air control with the airliner - we don’t know whether the airliner was diverted or pulled towards the combat zone,” he stated.
“And Washington which had a satellite over the airliner when it was destroyed refuses to release its information. Only Russia has released any information,” he noted.
Dr. Roberts went on to say that “now we have the fact that the report of the investigation conducted by the Dutch apparently cannot be released. It seems Washington has blocked the release.”
“And instead of release, we get Washington planning leaks in the media about what the report says… and leaks of the report - as always - found that Russia is responsible,” he pointed out.
The analyst said the Dutch investigators deny that Russia is responsible, “but their denial doesn’t get the attention that the accusation does.”
“So it seems clear that it’s a mechanism used against Russia. And therefore it serves only Washington, and Washington’s puppet regime in Kiev. So I am certain that Washington and Kiev are clearly responsible,” Dr. Roberts concluded.
