Neo-Con Propagandists Are Hiding Behind Freedom of Speech, Not Defending It

Neo-Con Propagandists Are Hiding Behind Freedom of Speech, Not Defending It

The supposed trigger for this provocation was a "draw Mohammad" contest organized by the American Freedom Defense Intitiative (AFDI), a performing Neo-Conservative propaganda troupe consisting of the Bush-era US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton, full-time propagandist Pamela Gellar and Robert Spencer, and Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

Their debut performance was in 2010, where they came out to protest the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque" supposedly to be built near the ruins of the destroyed World Trade Center in New York City. The mosque was never actually built, not because of the public backlash, but because the entire controversy was manufactured. The "imam" allegedly behind the mosque, was in fact a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, funded and backed by the very same corporate-funded think tanks that set out to protest against the planned "mosque." In other words, the entire scandal was manufactured on both sides by the same special interests for the purpose of manipulating the public.

Since then, with little success, AFDI and its various affiliates in North America and Europe have attempted to stoke hatred not toward "radical Islam," terrorists, or the US-backed regimes arming and funding them, but against all Muslims. Dutch politician Geert Wilders, for his part, while claiming to be defending "free speech" in Texas, has been busy trying to infringe on the rights of Muslims back in his home country.

He has even gone as far as calling for the complete censorship of the Qu'ran. The Telegraph in their article, "Ban Koran like Mein Kampf, says Dutch MP," would report:

The Koran should be banned as a “fascist book” alongside Mein Kampf because it urges Muslims to kill non-believers, says Dutch populist MP Geert Wilders.
Wilders and the rest of AFDI are not exercising free speech, but are in fact attempting to inspire fear, suspicion, hatred, and tangible violence against not just "terrorists," but all 1 billion plus practitioners of the Islamic faith, many of whom are fighting and dying this very moment battling real terrorists, ironically armed, funded, and fully backed by the very Neo-Cons that have assembled AFDI.

Not only does AFDI hold freedom of speech in contempt and actively set out to destroy it for others, they are now hiding behind it to further strip the rights, peace, and stability away from people both in the West and abroad. The so-called "War on Terror" that AFDI's rhetoric actively supports has served as the impetus to do everything from expanding warrantless surveillance and an ever expanding police state at home, to help garner support for wars of geopolitical conquest abroad.

Not About "Free Speech"

With these facts in mind, it is clear that "free speech" is a canard used by both the "left" and "right" to distract from the real purpose of the Garland shooting, and other acts of provocation like it. It distracts from the fact that all of the perpetrators have been well-known to security agencies for years, even sentenced and/or imprisoned by various courts, as well as investigated and kept under surveillance. It distracts from the fact that the event at the center of the attacks was organized and carried out by those who themselves have actively sought to curtail the freedoms of others, not to mention foster wars that have ended or otherwise destroyed the lives of millions. It distracts from the fact that the very Neo-Cons telling the world to fear "Islam" represent the same special interests arming and funding literal Al Qaeda and ISIS terrorists across North Africa, the Middle East, and even Central and East Asia.

The AFDI represents one insidious arm of a larger criminal conspiracy that has verifiably helped end the lives of tens of thousands in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Egypt, and Yemen since 2011. It also represents the same special interests that lied to the world to justify invading Iraq in 2003, ending the lives of some 1 million people and leaving the country, to this very day, in constant deadly chaos.

The Garland shooting is not about freedom of speech, but rather about criminal special interests playing both sides of a manufactured strategy of  tension to achieve further bloodshed, death, and conquest abroad, while inviting fear, division, and a growing police state stripping us all of our rights here at home.

Neither the AFDI nor the patsies involved in the shooting deserve the public's sympathy or defense. Rather, they both demand the scrutiny and vigilance required to break the rhetorical back of this conspiracy, and strip away the support it receives from both sides of a mass-manipulated public.

Dr Musharraf changing his tune and denouncing cartoons depicting Prophet

Rather then telling the Muslims that the Prophet was working in an organised manner to establish the first Islamic State in order to defend against such evils, Dr Musharraf is using the narrative of turning the other cheek and ignoring the remarks made.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) tracked down those who mocked him in Mecca after establishing the state and executed except for one which he pardoned on request of a companion.

However Musharraf states that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stood up for freedoms and human rights which are Western Liberal values alien to Islam as we are bound by the Shariah - so what exactly is his problem with the cartoons? Contradictory statement.

Freedom of Expression (Free Speech)

Freedom of Expression (Free Speech)

Freedom of expression means that man has the right to express and advocate openly any opinion about any matter or issue without restriction.
Freedom of expression for the Capitalists is not simply confined to the accountability of the rulers, or criticising the behaviour of politicians and others, but it also includes the freedom to openly proclaim Kufr, deny the existence of Allah, and to call for any idea even if it contradicts the Islamic creed or disagrees with the rules emanating from it, such as the call and promotion to what Allah has forbidden like usury, gambling, alcohol, fornication and sexual perversion, and for many ideas that undermine the Islamic values, which Allah has commanded Muslims to hold fast to and protect.

Freedom of expression means allowing the agents, the hypocrites, those who are disobedient to Allah, and the enemies of Islam, to openly call against Islam and destroying the entity of the Ummah, fragmenting her into ethnic groups, regions, sects and groups. It allows the calls for racist tribalism, which Islam rejects and forbade Muslims to call for and which the Prophet (saw) himself described as “rotten”. Freedom of opinion also allows the calls for Kufr ideas that encourage immorality among women, vice, profanity, and corruption, and undermines the high values of honour. It is enough for a person to remember how this freedom allowed the apostate Salman Rushdie to openly proclaim and distribute what he said about the Prophet and the mothers of the believers to realise the extent to which this freedom has reached for Capitalists.

It is true that Islam allows a Muslim to express his opinion about anything or any issue, but it restricts him only to opinions derived from the Islamic creed or those built upon it, or within what Islam allows him to discuss. He has the right to express any opinion, even if it contradicts the opinion of the Khaleefah and his adoption, and even if it contradicts the opinions of a majority of Muslims.

The only condition, though, is that his opinion should be based on an evidence from Sharia or within the limits of Sharia. Islam even obliges the Muslim to express his opinion and take the ruler to task if he abuses his authority by saying or ordering something that displeases Allah. Islam even elevated this act of standing up to the rulers to the level of Jihad for the sake of Allah. The Prophet (saw) said, “The master of Shuhada is Hamzah ibn „Abdul-Muttalib and a man who challenges an oppressive ruler, ordered him (to do good) and forbids him (from doing evil) and is killed by him.” However, it is not allowed for a Muslim to express any opinion that contradicts Islam, whether re the Islamic creed or anything emanating from it. Accordingly, he is not allowed to call for the “liberation of women”, or Nationalism, or Patriotism, or Regionalism, or a Kufr principle like Capitalism or Socialism, or indeed any idea that contradicts Islam.

Therefore, it is not allowed for Muslims to adopt the freedom of opinion which the Capitalists call for. Everything that is initiated by a Muslim should be confined by the Sharia. The Prophet (saw) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and in the Hereafter, let him say good or refrain from saying anything.” The “good” referred to in the hadith is Islam, or what Islam approves of. Islam forbids Muslims to even show any inclination toward what contradicts Islam because the Prophet (saw) said, “You are not considered a (true) believer until your desire and whims are obedient to what I have brought in revelation”.

Charlie Hebdo and the hypocrisy of pencils

Source: http://redflag.org.au/article/charlie-hebdo-and-hypocrisy-pencils

Key Points:

The cartoon in question depicts two men – masked and armed Arab terrorists (is there any other kind of Arab?) – with a hail of bomb-like objects raining down on their heads. Only the bombs aren’t bombs. They are pens, pencils and quills. Get it? In the face of a medieval ideology that only understands the language of the gun, the West – the heroic, Enlightenment-inspired West – responds by reaffirming its commitment to resist barbarism with the weapons of ideas and freedom of expression.

It was not pencils and pens – let alone ideas – that left Iraq, Gaza and Afghanistan shattered and hundreds of thousands of human beings dead. Not twelve. Hundreds of thousands. All with stories, with lives, with families. Tens of millions who have lost friends, family, homes and watched their country be torn apart.

To the victims of military occupation; to the people in the houses that bore the brunt of “shock and awe” bombing in Iraq; to those whose bodies were disfigured by white phosphorous and depleted uranium; to the parents of children who disappeared into the torture cells of Abu Ghraib; to all of them – what but cruel mockery is the contention that Western “civilisation” fights its wars with the pen and not the sword?

It is not to even mention the brutal rule of French colonialism in Algeria, and its preparedness to murder hundreds of thousands of Algerians and even hundreds of French-Algerian citizens in its efforts to maintain the remnants of empire. It is leaving aside the ongoing poverty, ghettoisation and persecution endured by the Muslim population of France, which is mostly of Algerian origin.

Mayor of Rotterdam Ahmed Aboutaleb tells fellow Muslims who do not appreciate the 'freedoms' of living in the West to 'd f*** off' Daily Mail Online

Key points:

'It is incomprehensible that you can turn against freedom,' Mayor Aboutaleb told Dutch current affairs program Nieuwsuur (Newshour).
'But if you don't like freedom, for heaven's sake pack your bags and leave.
'If you do not like it here because some humorists you don't like are making a newspaper, may I then say you can f*** off.

Israel demanded an apology for the following cartoon depicting Netanyahu

Israel demanded an apology for the following cartoon depicting Netanyahu building a wall with Muslim bodies and blood:

"The newspaper should apologize for this. We're not going to let this stand as it is," Israeli Ambassador to London Daniel Taub told The Times of Israel in a telephone interview. "We genuinely think that a red line has been crossed and the obligation on the newspaper is to correct that."

There's a red line for everything, except Islam, that's just "Freedom of Speech"...

King Abdullah of Jordan on Liberal Values

Jordan's King Abdullah II and Queen Rania attend the Paris unity march.
"We're here to demonstrate that we all stand for the values of democracy, of freedom, of freedom of expression, of tolerance."
On one hand they 'stand in solidarity with the people of France in their darkest hour', but on the other they send fighter jets to Iraq and Syria to kill our brothers and sisters!
